Transferring domain names
In order for
us to provide your hosting account using an existing domain name
you have regisered, it needs to be 'parked' (at no cost) with Blacklab
Hosting. There are some simple procedures that need to be undertaken.
UK domain transfers
To transfer
a UK domain name (co.uk, org.uk, ltd.uk and plc.uk) from your previous
host to Blacklab Hosting, you'll need to ask your previous host
to change the IPS tag to NETSITE (capitals). Once done, let us know
so we can complete the process. Please note that only the registrant
of the domain name can request this change.
International domain names
Transfer of
International domain names (.com, .org, .net) is slightly more complicated
and there are now several different procedures following implementation
of something called the Shared Registry System. For this reason,
we will contact you and help you through the process.
Complete
the following and click next if you wish to proceed with the transfer
and account set-up.
